Sakal Macramé is a project with roots in the Yucatecan peninsula that was born with the purpose of sharing a cultural fusion with the world.

The art of macramé weaving means knot and has an ancient origin that has been so sacred that it evolved until it reached America and became one of the most important decoration attractions of our times, since in its strict sense of creation it requires a totally handmade process, which guarantees that the knots of the fabric are well intertwined to wrap us in its essence with the solidity and strength that the hands in charge of creating these pieces can give it.

At Sakal we wanted to bring this ancestral art to Mexican spaces to reconnect with this multicultural essence that immerses us in a love story with our roots and make it an essential part of our lives.
